In launching Serasi Studio, I’ve been determined to understand the significant impact of the fashion industry on our planet. Sustainability has not been an afterthought here, and I’ve made conscious choices to prioritize sustainable practices where feasible, from the way our clothes are produced to the way they are packaged and shipped.

We are proud to partner with a manufacturer based in Portugal, known for their commitment to slow fashion, sustainable practices and high quality craftsmanship. During our visit to our manufacturing partner, we saw first hand the importance of sustainability in their practices.

They have a rich history in the industry and are Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. They also adopt innovative techniques to naturally dye garments through the use of organic waste in efforts to minimise our footprint.

Choosing 100% linen, our collection embraces natural fibers, which are not only renewable and biodegradable but also inherently more durable than their synthetic counterparts. Our scrunchies are also made out of repurposed vintage Batik fabric granting a second life to cherished Indonesian patterns.

In line with our ethos, our approach to packaging is thoughtful yet efficient. Each packaging element has been carefully considered, choosing materials that are either reusable, biodegradable or made from recycled materials. We’ve opted for biodegradable mailers (in place of plastic mailers or boxes), reusable cotton dust bags (in place of tissue paper) and individual garment bags made out of recycled plastic (in place of plastic garment bags). Our commitment to sustainability extends to the way in which our sets reach you, without compromising on the unboxing experience.
